Intern Spotlight: Samantha Motz (RESESS)
Samantha is working with Dr. Kamini Singha from the Colorado School of Mines this summer. She and her mentor are examining the influence of topography on the hydrology of the Hotel Gulch Watershed near Manitou Lake in Colorado. The project began by installing groundwater wells with Sara Warix, a PhD student at the Colorado School of Mines.

RESESS Application Now Open!

RESESS Boulder is 11 weeks in person based in Boulder, Colorado. RESESS Satellite is a hybrid 11-week program, with 5 weeks in person and 6 weeks remote based at a UNAVCO member institution in the U.S.
RESESS Alum Jae Bridges Accepted into Graduate Program
We are delighted to congratulate Jae Bridges—a 2020 RESESS intern—for being accepted into the graduate program at Ohio University this fall! We’re even happier to note that Jae will be working with Prof. Katherine Fornash, who is herself an alum of the RESESS program!
Welcome to RESESS
RESESS is a summer internship program dedicated to increasing the diversity of students entering the geosciences. RESESS supports interns in summer research experiences at UNAVCO in Boulder, CO, as well as provides professional development opportunities and graduate school application support.
