Biography
Samantha Beauchaine is a rock and mineral enthusiast from Saint Louis, Mo. She’s currently a rising senior at Arizona State University majoring in geological sciences. She is highly interested in geology with a focus in mineralogy and petrology. As a RESESS intern, she will be working with thin sections of eudialyte from the Cornudas Mountains, focusing on discovering rare earth elements (REE) within the sample. Samantha hopes after graduation to move on to graduate school for research in geology.
