Biography
Jacqueline is an undergraduate student majoring in Geology at the University of Texas at El Paso. Her plans are to go to grad school with a major in Geology and a minor in Chemistry. Her love for nature and science has pushed her in the direction of Geology, and she is super excited to work in the lab and possibly do some field work. She has experience in using EPMA and ICPMS and would love to work with critical minerals and help find ways to repurpose rare earth elements. At earthscope Jacqueline will be using GNSS to observe earthquake + aquifer deformation. Her goal this summer is to learn coding, grow professionally and to gain more experience in presenting research at a conference.
