Biography
Halina Dingo (she/her) is a rising senior at Pennsylvania State University majoring in Geosciences with minors in geophysics and English as well as a certificate in GIS. She is interested in geophysics and seismology as well as science writing and communication. During RESESS, she is studying Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), a seismic wave sensing technology, applied to an experimental geothermal energy facility in Utah in order to measure induced seismicity from drilling enhanced geothermal systems. Once she graduates, she is planning on pursuing a masters in geophysics and/or seismology.
